This is He whom Heaven-taught singers
Sang of old with one accord;
Whom the Scriptures of the prophets
Promised in their faithful word.
Now He shines, the Long-expected;
Let creation praise its Lord
Evermore and evermore!
My dear friends and readers, Merry Christmas to you! May the baby born on this night draw us always closer to Him, and may we always let Him.
With all best wishes, prayers, and gratitude for your support,
from the Fisher family, who aren’t necessarily 100% photogenic

Sweet!
Merry Christmas :)! Adorable pic.
It’s been so busy here. We only had six of ours here–five of them sleeping overnight–in 1100 sq ft. We did it! Everyone had a respectable bed with sheets.
Ricardo made prime rib with Max for Christmas Eve dinner. My favorite part was the exotic mushroom gravy. We went to a Christmas party and then Midnight Mass. Boy did they sing a lot.
The next day we lazed around. I spent the whole day cleaning and shouting commands at my new kitchen buddy “Google”. –“Hey Google, play me the most popular pop songs in the country!” It plays the music video too. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing yet…It’s disconcerting to know that it’s always listening. Four of the boys played Nintendo for seven straight hours. Also disconcerting. We were able to shoo them out of the house, taking a nature walk at the edge of the bay at Sunset. Our big fluff ball Juno, who looked spiffy in her red quilted jacket couldn’t understand why all those dogs, were treating her like a dog. (She was insulted.) It was beautiful and brisk and thankfully cleared the pixels from our heads. My sun Lucas photobombed 99% of the pictures we took with strange facial contortions. It was nice to see a lot of other families enjoying the beautiful evening too. We came home and ate a boat load of Thai food. I had drinks with my new buddy Google, trying to stump her with questions, (yes, I did, and I was happy with her apology) and then collapsed into bed with the idea of watching Netflix, but promptly fell asleep. The boys stayed up past midnight waking me up from time to time by shouting and squealing with a new board game.
Our most memorable gift came from my oldest son. He sent us a bidet attachment for our toilet. Yes laughed, but let me tell you –now that it’s installed, I can’t understand why every household in America doesn’t own one. Revolutionary. A game changer. I appreciate a thoughtful gift.
Merry Christmas from a devoted reader in France !
Merry Christmas, Fishers!
Merry Christmas and thank you! You and your family made 2018 better than it would otherwise have been, and I expect no less for 2019!
Can you remind me what the print above your couch is? (Near Benny’s head)
Thanks again, and all the best wishes to all of you!
Stefanie
Oh, it’s John the Evangelist by Jim Janknegt. I love it so much.

Merry Christmas to you and your gorgeous family Simcha. Not photogenic? Rubbish. The most beautiful bunch of children and two parents who exude love and happiness from inside and out. No filter necessary thank you very much. xo
Photogenic, hell. You look like the host of Xerxes, only — with one or two notable exceptions — shorter.
Merry Christmas, Fishers.
